The ski tour from Ridnaun/Ridanna valley to the Ratschinger Kreuz summit is a simple to medium ski tour along a northern slope.
Ascent: From Ried across the valley floor to the wooden bridge. Cross it and walk up to the right of the stream over a steep hollow below the Steinhof. Above the fence on the left, flat above the stream into the valley until you reach a path. Cross this to the right and continue along the road. From there, take the forest road into the Valtigltal valley. Where the path loops to the left, you can take a shortcut just to the right of the stream. You come to a shallow open valley. Go straight in to the right of the stream until you reach the alpine pasture Valtiglalm (1741 m). The valley is now closed off by a rock barl. Walk up to the rocks and to the right up a slope in the shape of a triangle. This becomes narrower towards the top and ends under rocks on the left. You now cross to the left onto a ridge out to a small alpine hut on the flat ground of the upper valley. A few depressions now lead across to the alpine pasture Entholzer Alm (2039 m), which you leave on the left. Continue straight towards Ratschinger Joch and right to the summit with cross.
Descent: as ascent.
