The natural landscape of the Tagusa loop route offers endless variety, and leads along meadows, woods and forest trails past the two hamlets of Tisana and Tagusa. At 12.8 km it is a moderately difficult tour, but the Moosbühel route offers a shorter alternative.
Set off from Castelrotto and head east towards Tiosels, where the route begins to descend. The downhill stretch leads towards the woody Rendenbühl, where you can enjoy the secluded atmosphere of the Castelrotto forest. The tour circles the hill in a large loop and then turns left onto a forest road. You now cross through the hamlet of Tagusa, with magnificent views of Val Gardena and Val Isarco, and follow the trail to the Tisenser Bühlen hill. The final stretch leads you through the village of Tisana and, after about 13 km, back to your set-off point in Castelrotto.
We recommend this tour for families.
