The Corno Fana/Pfannhorn is famous for the view over the Dolomites and the Main chain of the Alps.
IMPORTANT: Before starting any ski tour/snowshoe excursion, you must check the weather conditions and danger avalanches report, asking also experts (alpine guides etc.).
The ski tour starts at Gandelle/Kandellen and leads on the forest road no. 25 to the edge of the forest. Above here you get a wonderful panoramic view of the valley of the Alta Pusteria/Hochpustertal. The path continues across slopes covered in deep snow to reach the Rif. Bonner/Bonner Hütte hut. From there, serpentines lead over snow-covered slopes to the Rifugio Bonner Hütte.From the hut, which is 2,307 m high, the trail continues to the summit cross at the Corno Fana/Toblacher Pfannhorn.
Coming from Villabassa turn left at the traffic light and go in the direction of the church. From there go to San Silvestro/Gandelle.
Coming from San Candido turn right at the traffic light and go in the direction of the church. From there go to San Silvestro/Gandelle.
Coming from Cortina enter in the directon of Dobbiaco Nuova (Via Dolomiti) and go at the traffic light straight and go in the direction of the church. From there go to San Silvestro/Gandelle.
