This mountain-bike tour, which leads past the ruins of Castelvecchio, is a perfect mountain bike taster-tour. The climbs are not too steep and are do-able even for beginners.

The MTB-Tour begins in Siusi and leads to San Valentino/St. Valentin. It begins with breathtaking views over Castelrotto, along a tarred road and then a dirt road to Tiosels At Wasserebene, the route steepens considerably. However, the small tarred road will not present any problems for beginners. The ascent lessens somewhat at Wasserebene. The route leads on in a slight uphill to the San Valentino/St. Valentin information office. Above Siusi/Seis, cycle onwards towards Bagni di Razzes/Bad Ratzes. The stretch past Bagni di Razzes  and onwards, on a dirt road in the Castelvecchio/Hauenstein Wood, is good for cycling and is a little uneven only directly behind Bagni di Razzes.

You then cycle above and past the ruins of Castelvecchio, where a steep dirt road will put your braking skills to the test. After a stop-off en-route to see the castle ruins (only accessible on foot),a flowing trail leads back to the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm cable car and back to Siusi.
