A trip to discover the many archaeological finds in the area around Bressanone. The trail starts from Stufles, the oldest district in Bressanone, until the Roman tower, a historic gem with a wonderful panoramic view. It continues on an ancient Roman road through the sunny slopes, and then returns to Bressanone.
Starting from Ponte Aquila/Adlerbrücke take the path to Stufels and Kranebitt ascending to the Gugger farmhouse. At the car park this path runs in a northerly direction to the Pinazbühel and to Elvas. From there you walk along path n. 2 through vineyards and orchards back to Bressanone/Brixen.
