Closure of the Vilinger Dille forest road (hiking trail 2/A) from the Villnod bridge near the Grödnerbach stream to the turnoff towards Tagusens at the Vilgner Dille from 11.03.2023 from 08.00 am continuously until 30.04.2023 at 12pm due to logging work.
The natural landscape of the Tagusens loop route offers endless variety, and leads along meadows, woods and forest trails past the two hamlets of Tisens and Tagusens. At 12.8 km it is a moderately difficult tour, but the Moosbühel route offers a shorter alternative.
Set off from Kastelruth and head east towards Tiosels, where the route begins to descend. The downhill stretch leads towards the woody Rendenbühl, where you can enjoy the secluded atmosphere of the Kastelruth forest. The tour circles the hill in a large loop and then turns left onto a forest road. You now cross through the hamlet of Tagusens, with magnificent views of Val Gardena and Eisacktal valley, and follow the trail to the Tisenser Bühlen hill. The final stretch leads you through the village of Tisens and, after about 13 km, back to your set-off point in Kastelruth.
